Masterplan Ghent

Masterplan Ghent

Taveirne is involved in one of the most ambitious railway projects in Flanders.

The large-scale renovation of Ghent-Saint-Peter’s station and its surroundings is part of the broader Masterplan Ghent, a forward-looking investment in smooth, safe, and sustainable rail traffic. Taveirne is proud to contribute its expertise within this strategic mobility hub.

The project includes a complete redevelopment of the railway infrastructure over a construction area more than 2 kilometers long. Everything in this zone is being renewed: tracks, overhead lines, and signaling systems are gradually being replaced by modern, high-performance systems that meet the demands of today and tomorrow.

This renewal will ensure smoother train traffic flow and better service for passengers.

As a reliable partner, Taveirne is jointly responsible for this sustainable transformation of the railway network around Ghent.
