Brussels-Amsterdam High Speed Train. North-South link of Antwerp. Antwerp-Berchem – Antwerp Havanastraat section. Rail works Antwerp, Level -1 & -2, drilled shafts and Luchtbal zone.

Construction of the tracks and points and crossings in the zone located between Antwerp-Berchem station and the Antwerp Noorderdokken stop (including both drilled shafts).

The track works include the construction of:

• over 15,000 m of track and 45 points and temporary access points in the Luchtbal zone, area under the Astridplein, platform zone of Antwerp Central (Levels -1 and -2)
• remaining track works for the conversion of Driehoek Berchem including, amongst others, the construction of 2,730 m of track and 7 points
• the ballasting of the newly laid tracks and points and crossings
• the packing, levelling and straightening of the tracks and points and crossings in accordance with the prescribed tolerances
