Schaerbeek: Installation of four P215 switches

During the weekend of 15–16 November, following pre-assembly, two P215 switches were replaced in Schaerbeek, using our PEMs and LEMs, and two tracks of approximately 75 metres were renewed.

During the weekend of 8 and 9 November Taveirne installed three P1150 turnouts at the Aalter-Bellem worksite on the Ghent–Ostend line.

During the weekends of 13–14 and 20–21 June, Taveirne installed four new railway switches as part of phase 1.1 of the Dendermonde Master Plan.

Two additional tracks are being laid on Belgium’s busiest railway line (L50), between Ghent and Bruges.SNCB is already integrating the new tracks into the June timetable, which will lead to smoother and more punctual train connections.

In Lot, borough of Beersel, 2 switches were renewed last weekend. Our PEM LEM lorries were used to carry out this work.

Switches were placed at the Gent Sint-Pieters yard last month in anticipation of the construction of platform tracks 6 and 7.

In early May, Taveirne could be seen at work on a site in Forest installing 4 concrete points and 2 derailment needles.

On site in Brussels, Taveirne was responsible for renewing 120 m of track and installing a switch.
