Constructing a new track involves a lot more than just assembling the tracks. Taveirne also takes care of the extra tasks such as:

  • Ballast cleaning
  • Cable works around the track
  • Construction of platforms and platform furniture
  • Foundation blocks for signal and overhead cable poles
  • Drainage and drains in a new or existing track bed
  • Welding of different types of tracks

All of this in compliance with the applicable standards and safety regulations.

In order to be fully profitable, railway tracks require regular, properly performed maintenance. Taveirne performs maintenance work for Infrabel and, amongst others, Arcelor Mittal, Cobelfret, Casier and 2XL, etc.
