Major works at the port of Zeebrugge are nearing completion. Only finishing works are scheduled for September.

The renewal of the last bend of bridge 1 of the Vandammesluis was carried out between 15 April and 17 May, in close cooperation with De Lijn, the police, Port of Bruges, AWV and various subcontractors.

To limit disruption to tram traffic, the switch complex in front of the Vandamme lock was renewed overnight during the week of 13 May.

Taveirne also carried out repair work for De Lijn in the area. This mainly involved tackling rail breaks and a transition needle on the bridge.
